My fave memory would have to be when we trained with the Division 1 Women’s team or when we won the Semi-Final to get into the Cup Final.
If you could be one person on the team for a day who would it be and why?
Laila – I would love to know what it is like to be 11 again and because she’s my best friend and she’s very fast.

Laila does Irish Dancing and her nickname is spicy sausage in basketball!

When I fell over nothing, also when I fell on top of Rachel when we trained with the Division 1 team!

Ellie because she has skills and because she taught me how to shoot and not have flamingos hands for the flamingos dance!

I probably look up to Ciaran or Karen because they are both so great at basketball!

My favourite memory was at the Limerick Celtics tournament when it was so loud and the game was so tight!

My favourite memory with the team is probably when I first joined, I felt so welcomed and kind of honoured that my teammates knew me already.

I’d like to be Kate because I want to know what it’s like being her height and maybe dunk some baskets.

I didn’t know Hannah was left handed until ages later.

I can’t recall any embarrassing moments to be honest, not while playing a game. That one time in training where we replaced a basketball with a tennis ball during scrimmages was really silly.

I look up to Gianna Bryant. She was a brilliant player and I think her life was too short for a player with so much potential. We are quite similar, my dad coaches myself and helps my improve. Like Father like daughter.

What is your favourite memory with the team?
When Sophie gave us a pep talk before the semi finals and we won
If you could be one person on the team for a day who would it be and why?
I think I would be Sophie or Diana. Sophie has a great attitude towards the sport and the players, amazing skills and she’s super funny! Diana is a great laugh, and I can never beat her. She’s insanely fast and deceptive and has an amazing lay-up and defence. It’s really hard to pick between the two!
One fact you’ve learned about a player on your team?
Sarah does swimming

I shot the ball about a hundred times before the basketball camp, but it hit everything but the basket itself XD

I think I would look up to Karen, or Ciaran. Karen’s an amazing player, her skills are on another level! She’s also kinda like our “team mom” Ciaran has amazing accuracy with his three point shots and great ball control, so it’s a tie between the two!

A recent league game against Meteors. Although we lost by 2pts, the standard of skill and play was very high, even outdoing some of our senior teams final scorelines. The girls never gave up and showed the Dynamo fight!
If you could be one person on the team for a day who would it be and why?
I would like to be Ciaran, just to know how it feels to have an Assistant Coach and Manager do all the work.

Hannah never gets tired!!

As a young player I loved watching Sandy Fitzgibbon (Blarney, Cork) and Carol Chubb (Corinthians), I later went on to play with them internationally and at club level, respectively.
